Use of a Single-File Reciprocating R20 in a Complex Retreatment

Patient Case: A 62-year-old female with persistent discomfort in the maxillary left first molar underwent nonsurgical orthograde retreatment after a CBCT scan revealed an untreated MB2 canal and a periapical lesion.
Technique: The EdgeOne Blaze Utopia R20 was utilized for its ability to navigate complex canal morphology without glide path preparation.
Materials Used: Standard irrigation protocols were followed by single-cone obturation using EdgeOne R Utopia gutta-percha points and EdgeBioceramic Sealer.

The R20 successfully navigated a narrow, double-curved MB2 canal without glide path preparation.
