Objective:

To develop and validate a standardized radiographic evaluation tool, DENTALE, for assessing late dental adverse effects in survivors of childhood cancer.

Key Findings:
  • Interobserver reliability showed good to excellent agreement (ICC: 0.857–0.939).
  • DENTALE achieved 100% sensitivity and 90.0% specificity for specialized dental care referral decisions using a threshold score of 16 points.
  • Positive and negative predictive values were 94.6% and 100%, respectively.
Interpretation:

Remove or rephrase to eliminate unsupported conclusions.

Limitations:
  • The study focused on a specific cohort of rhabdomyosarcoma survivors, which may limit generalizability.
  • Further validation in diverse populations and treatment modalities is necessary.
Conclusion:

Revise to focus solely on findings without unsupported claims.
